  • Lindsay is a litigator who specializes in business and financial litigation. She represents numerous businesses, financial institutions, lenders and loan servicers concerning complex commercial disputes, fraud, breach of contract, business torts, unfair competition and violation of both state and federal common and statutory law. Matters handled by Lindsay include complex business litigation, interpleader actions, check litigation, bank fraud, wrongful foreclosure, employment discrimination and retaliation, and alleged violations of the FCDPA and UDTPA.

    In addition to financial and business litigation, Lindsay has experience in products liability, personal injury, and healthcare. She also has extensive experience in the representation of electric utilities related to pole attachment and joint use matters and has participated in numerous hearings before the Federal Communications Commission. Lindsay also has experience with domestic relations, paternity and custody issues.

    Prior to joining Farmer Price Hornsby & Weatherford, Lindsay worked as Corporate Counsel with BBVA Compass in Birmingham, AL (one of the 20 largest U.S. commercial banks based on deposit market share consisting of approximately 712 branches in seven states) where she assisted in managing its nationwide defensive litigation, as well as provided legal support for the subpoena, garnishment and corporate security departments. Before joining BBVA Compass, Lindsay worked as an attorney with Balch & Bingham LLP in Birmingham, AL.
